Dr. Ali Al Suwaidi is a nationally recognized orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of experience. He is also the current President of the UAE Orthopedic Society and a leading shoulder and sports surgeon specializing in the treatment of shoulder conditions as well as neck pain and minimally invasive surgeries of the shoulder and the upper limb. He is also highly experienced in Arthroscopy of upper limb and knee joints.
Dr Ali graduated from the Royal college of Ireland medical school followed by surgical training leading to his FRCSI. Then he moved to Canada where he started his residency in orthopedics in Toronto, Canada leading to his Specialist Fellowship in Orthopedics (FRCSC ) in 2004

He was part of Cohort of future Healthcare leaders sponsored by Emirate of Abu Dhabi that completed a Master program in Leadership and Health Policies at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2011.
Dr Ali is recognized for his medical contributions, establishing a world–class shoulder and upper limb extremity services in Abu Dhabi, and treats complex and revision shoulder cases referred from across the world. He has established orthopedic units in leading health institutions in Abu Dhabi and led internationally qualified teams of surgeons in different subspecialties.
